Advanced Voting Polls in Kelowna

Hi!

My sincerest apologies if you are receiving this email and you don't live in Kelowna, but I can only hope that you will continue to support my tireless efforts to bring a balanced voice to our city council by sharing this information with as many people as you possibly can.

Today is the first day for advanced voting polls in Kelowna.  They are open until 8:00pm tonight and are at these two locations:

Just wanted to give you all an update on my election campaign, which has been very positive and busy so far. I have attended all of the candidate forums that I was invited to, and met with many very encouraging people who are taking a very keen interest in how our next city council is elected. I hope that you can attend some of the remaining all-candidate forums and would really like the opportunity to meet with you personally.

Kelowna Votes 2011

Howdy! For those who don't know me, my name is Dan Thorburn and I would like to earn your very important vote in the upcoming 2011 Kelowna Civic Election! The vote is on Saturday, November 19, 2011 (which is an awesome day in itself because that is my moms birthday, I love you mom!) and I really hope that you and everyone else in Kelowna will use their vote to have a say in what happens with our beautiful city.

Today is the last day of August.  Next week school begins and for me this is going to be an entirely new experience and an old one at the same time.  After having graduating from BCIT in 2000 I am returning to the post-secondary world as a student once again, but this time it is to study politics.  The way I see it, if I'm going to have any chance at getting on par with other politicians so that I can understand their double-speak, then I'm going to have to study their game first.

Join the Fight HST Rally - August 8 - Stanley Park

The people have spoken with the Fight HST petition and the campaign to repeal the HST will continue until the B.C. government listens. Come and join Fight HST volunteers and other British Columbians in another rally to demonstrate unity, strength and support for the ongoing Fight HST campaign.
